این قالی اصیل از سامانِ چهارمحال و بختیاری، یکی از شناخته‌شده‌ترین خاستگاه‌های فرشبافی ایران است؛ جایی که هنر در تار و پود زندگی مردمانش جاری است. قدمت این اثر به ۴۰ سال پیش بازمی‌گردد و در تمام این سال‌ها، استحکام گره‌های ترکی و نخ‌های دستریس رنگ‌شده با گیاهان طبیعی، اصالت و ماندگاری‌اش را تضمین کرده است. چله‌ی نخ پنبه‌ای و پشم مرغوب دستریس، این فرش را به اثری نفیس و ماندگار بدل ساخته است
نقشه‌ی چهارفصل خشتی—یکی از طرح‌های نمادین بختیاری—چیدمانی از قاب‌های منظم است که هرکدام دنیایی جداگانه را روایت می‌کنند: بهار با گل‌های شکوفه‌دار، تابستان با شاخه‌های پربار، پاییز با برگ‌های زرین و زمستان با شاخه‌های سپیدپوش. این قاب‌بندی‌های خشت‌مانند، زندگی و طبیعت را در چهار فصل به تصویر می‌کشند و در کنار هم، جهانی از تقارن، روایت و زیبایی می‌آفرینند
